One of the first ballet premieres of the new year took place on the stage of the Moravian Theatre in Olomouc and it was a truly world-class event. 

DEKKADANCERS is a major dance company, significantly influencing the development of contemporary dance and dance theatre and undoubtedly the taste of the audience in a wider context. 

It is undoubtedly a good thing that the work of the distinguished choreographer John Neumeier is finally entering the repertoire of the Czech National Ballet. 

Riders, Lenka Vagnerová’s new show, is the “remake” of Jezdci that came to life ten years ago. The choreographer feels the work was a cornerstone for the establishment of her dance company and her major achievement as an author.

The latest première of the North Bohemian Theatre ballet company (Ústí nad Labem) is the original full-length ballet Frida, created by the experienced dance maker Marika Hanousková Mikanová.
