The Focus Agency, specializing in marketing and PR, ranked the Brno National Theatre Ballet’s Baletiště among 2020 top ten ads. Other successful subjects were e.g. McDonald’s (Night Workers), Adobe Photoshop (Fantastic Voyage) and Apple (The whole working-from-home thing). More information here.
The article says: “Culture is one of the sectors most affected by last year’s coronavirus crisis. Therefore, it’s truly refreshing to see that one of the most positive recent adverts was created by a cultural institution, more precisely the Brno National Theatre Ballet, and was set at the Brno airport. The 3-minute film, featuring dance as part of the airport’s daily operations, presents all productions which were meant for the 2020/2021 season. At the end, the company leaves the “ballet airport” to transfer, most likely, to their home stage – the Brno National Theatre.”
