I met Marika Hanousková in one the Liberec theatre’s changing rooms, right after the reprise of Margaux Thomas‘ The Little Prince.
Monika Štúrová
MgA. Monika Štúrová graduated from the Dance Conservatory of Ivo Váňa-Psota in Prague. She went on to study Dance Science at HAMU (Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) and now continues with her studies in the PhD programme. In her work, Štúrová focuses on Czech ballet companies of the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Apart from dance journalism, Monika Štúrová devotes her time to dance education. She currently works as a dance instructor at BeDance studio in Nusle, Prague.
At present, Štúrová is the secretary of the Dance Department (HAMU).
