Natálie Erbesová

Bc. MgA. Natálie Erbesová graduated in French Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts of the Masaryk University in Brno (Traduction commentée de la Philosophie de la danse de Paul Valéry) and in Dance Science at HAMU (Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts), where she currently continues with her doctoral studies. In 2013, she took part in the international dance anthropology course IPEDAK/IPEDAM in Trondheim, Norway. In 2018, she completed a traineeship focusing on the Danse Libre Malkovsky method (Callian, South France) under François Carlier. Erbesová’s diploma thesis centred on three representatives of the Czech dance community in France in the 1st half of the 20th century – František Malkovský, Emanuel Siblík and Zdenka Podhajská. Within her doctoral studies, she is broadening the research topic and mapping artistic activities of other Czech dancers in France in the modernity period. She teaches History of Dance and Ballet at Prague Dance Conservatory.
