Ballet of the South Bohemian Theatre

Fairy-tale ballets have a long tradition in our country, Cinderella not excluded. Let us remember Saša Machov, whose version of Prokofiev's ballet lasted on the repertoire of the National Theatre in Prague for almost twenty years!

When the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic hit Europe in March 2020, the South Bohemian Theatre ballet company was busy rehearsing Petr Zuska and Štěpán Benyovsky’s new ballet Radio Free Cunning Little Vixen. 

The artistic director of the ballet ensemble of South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, Lukáš Slavický, celebrated his 40th birthday on September 17th.
